Artem Tsurkan built the CheckAI app as a commercial app with a free tier. This SERVICE is provided by Artem Tsurkan and is intended for use as is.This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of information if anyone decides to use my Service.If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The information that I collect is used only for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used here have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions.
Information Collection and Use
No registration or profile with personal data is required to use CheckAI.The app does not ask you to enter your real name, email, phone number, or address.The app processes the following types of data:
Receipt data (text and photos)
You can scan receipts using the camera or add them manually.
Receipt text and analysis results are stored locally on your device using Apple’s technologies (Core Data, local storage).
Receipt photos are also stored only on your device (and in your iCloud backup if enabled).
I do not receive your receipt photos or contents of checks on my own servers.
AI analysis (OpenAI API)
When you use AI recognition of receipts, the text of the receipt (and in some cases a processed image) is sent to the OpenAI API to perform recognition and categorization.
The data is used only to return you a structured result (items, prices, categories) and is not used by me to build a profile about you.
Referral system
For the referral program, the app generates an anonymous device identifier (based on identifierForVendor) and sends it together with your promo code information to my server on savefree1.net.
The server stores:
an anonymous device ID,
your promo code,
how many referrals you have invited,
how many bonus scans you received.
No real name, email, or phone number is required for this, and I do not try to identify you personally.
Subscription and payments (in‑app purchases)
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple via App Store / StoreKit.
I do not receive or store your full payment data (credit card number, etc.).
I may receive technical information from Apple about the status of your subscription (active/expired, type of plan) to unlock Pro features in the app.
The information that I request is retained on your device and/or on my server only to the extent necessary to provide the features (referrals, subscriptions). I do not sell or rent this data.
Third‑Party Services
The app uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or your device in accordance with their own privacy policies.Links to the privacy policy of third‑party service providers used by the app:

Log Data
I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I may collect data and information (through third‑party products or on the device itself) called Log Data.This Log Data may include information such as:
device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address,
device name and model,
operating system version,
the configuration of the app when using the Service,
the time and date of your use of the Service,
internal error messages and technical statistics.
Most of this logging is used locally on your device to help you and me debug issues (for example, the log.txt file). I do not automatically upload your logs to my servers. You may manually share logs with me via email or messenger if you request support.

The Service itself does not use “cookies” explicitly.However, the app and the website (savefree1.net) may use third‑party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services (for example, on the website). You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies in your browser and to know when a cookie is being sent to your device.

I value your trust in providing data that is necessary for the work of the Service, thus I strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it.However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.
